Laura came in to our office to my office for an initial examination after years of avoiding going to the dentist due to her fear of the dentist and dental anxiety. Unfortunately, her upper teeth were far too gone and deemed unsalvageable. For years she wore a poor fitting upper removable partial. She didn’t want dentures and she wanted something that looks and functions just like natural teeth. Full arch implant supported bridge, a full mouth implants option, was the answer.
Six dental implants were placed on the upper arch and full lower arch reconstruction was performed.
Full upper arch dental implant bridge was fabricated from Zirconia as opposed to metal titanium. The teeth were bonded individually to the framework to allow for a natural function and flossing. The level of esthetics is superb with e.max crowns.
Zirconia (non-metal) frameworks offer superior strength and esthetics. Individual bonding of the crowns allows for the ability of flossing similar to natural teeth and offer superior cosmetic results.
The lower arch was restored with full emax crowns to restore function and esthetics.
The result is a beautiful healthy smile and a very happy patient.
